“FruitFruit Friends and A Halloween Village"

In the autumn of 2022, we had an unforgettable Halloween tragedy in Itaewon, South Korea.
Before the unfortunate incident, we had set up a small fruit-animal Halloween village at the Hyundai Premium Outlet in Songdo.
The primary exhibit at the "Fruit Fruit and A Halloween Village" is an interactive art sculpture - a mandarin spider - that effectively startles visitors by moving abruptly when they approach it.
Mandarin Spider
While observing mandarins, I peeled them in various directions; looking at them, I realized the skin of the half-peeled tangerine was like a spider's leg.
I developed the idea of a Mandarin Spider into a cute yet scary character and used it for a Halloween-themed exhibition.
